Management

Paul Hayman, Chief Executive Officer
Paul Hayman is the CEO and founder of TenantAccess Inc, the leading national provider of single family residential rental and property management services in the United States. TenantAccess and its operating brand, PropertyAccess, were formed specifically to provide national, enterprise wide solutions for owners of scattered single family residences. Under Paul Hayman's leadership, TenantAccess has proven to be the knowledge leader in servicing this new institutional rental asset class. The company's clients include many of the largest financial lending institutions and private equity firms in the country.
Paul started his entrepreneurial, home services career as a College Pro Painter franchisee. During the summer he operated his student painting franchise in the small town of Belleville. This gave him his first taste of leadership while at the same time he achieved his undergraduate degree at the Ivey Business School of the University of Western Ontario. Shortly thereafter, he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation while working with Price Waterhouse in Toronto. Starting in 1985, Mr. Hayman began his long term career with TFC, a subsidiary of FirstService Corporation. For twenty-six years, Paul held various executive positions within the TFC holding company. Those executive roles included President of TFC Contractor Networks, CEO of Pillar To Post, President of CertaPro Painters, CEO of College Pro Painters, President of TLS, President of Action Window Cleaners and Executive Vice President responsible for the company's Leadership Development Program. It was during his recent term with the Contractor Network division that he founded TenantAccess and Property Access while at the same time being responsible for the rapid growth and success of Field Asset Services Inc, a national field services provider with a vendor network of over 15,000 contractors.
For over thirty years Paul Hayman has committed his professional life to three primary areas: one, understanding and leading growing companies which are the forerunners in their respective industry; two, understanding the needs of families who enjoy the benefits of living in a single family residence regardless of the family being an owner or renter; three, understanding the dynamics of meaning in the workplace for all levels.
Throughout his professional life Paul has strived to lead organizations from a set of core values: being open to the possibilities; being focused on the needs of the client; pushing one's own developmental edge and respecting the individual. In Paul's current role as CEO of TenantAccess and PropertyAccess these four values are proving invaluable guideposts as the two brands, through their national property management platform, strive to support the changing landscape of homeownership in America. It is a landscape which requires creative and bold thinking while at the same time is sensitive to the needs of the everyday family in the residential home.
